Peer to peer (P2P) software is the fastest-growing internal threat. Today, hundreds of P2P applications exist, from Internet telephony to instant messaging to file sharing and backup services.  P2P allows users to bypass the standard routes of communications. P2P opens up a network from everything from sharing of sensitive data through malware and spying software.
