"Being able to secure desktops without having to install monitoring software on each machine is a big advantage for businesses."

CSO Security and Risk

"Promisec's network security software aims to detect and eliminate internal threats, without using ActiveX or any other type of dissolvable agent, run-once technology that removes traces of itself. The company estimates that over 80 percent of attacks and corporate abuse originate internally. As an example, Kotler noted last year's data breach in Pfizer, where the data of about 15,700 existing and former employees were compromised when the spouse of an employee downloaded file-sharing software onto a company-issued laptop."

Current Analysis Quote

"Client-based solutions can introduce more involved deployment, maintenance and interoperability issues,"

Network World Quote

"Promisec's technology for Enterprises includes monitoring of application processes, services and toolbars to better establish a baseline of normal device activity. Any traffic that exceeds that baseline can trigger alerts, uninstall offending applications, kill processes or remove setup commands for them."

Enterprise Management Associates Quote

"Securing network endpoints continues to be a primary concern. Without securing this diverse landscape, the enterprise faces significant risks -- risks which now may include substantial regulatory penalties arising from gaps in securing sensitive information resources… Promisec's agentless automated architecture addresses these issues, while still providing businesses with solid security functionality."
