You Define the Policies. We Ensure Compliance.
Promisec Clientless Remediation, the final component to Promisec's complete security and optimization solution, automatically and/or remotely remediates most deviations from your defined policies and strictly enforces compliance.
Problems can be fixed automatically, or “on the fly” with simple right clicks on a report from a single user-friendly GUI preventing IT managers from having to physically visit an endpoint to make necessary fixes. Both users and the business can continue working without interruption while Promisec's lightweight clientless architecture optimizes your internal network, increases productivity and provides fast ROI.
Promisec's comprehensive visibility lets you see everything that is happening on your endpoints while receiving in-depth event reports enabling you to identify and prepare for removal any new benign or potentially malignant object that is not pre-approved or part of your corporate baseline. Promisec also ensures the proper deployment and functional status of your endpoint 3rd party security agents.
Promisec offers 2 ways to remediate:
Automatic Remediation
Promisec provides automatic remediation according to an administrator's preset configurations prior to running an inspection. The administrator can set automatic remediation actions to deal with specific potentially harmful events. Once these configurations are pre-set, no further action is required other than to change the settings.
With Promisec's Automatic Remediation you can:
-
Re-enable a disabled anti-virus or other disabled clients and maintain their operational status
-
Re-enable “stopped” essential services
-
Reset predefined group policies to original settings
-
Maintain and enforce power management settings
-
Eliminate known harmful or resource depleting processes
-
Reset registry settings that have been tampered with
-
Harden registry settings so that any change is automatically reversed
-
Block the use of specific peripheral devices e.g. removable media, iPods and Blackberries
Remote Remediation
Often security and systems administrators prefer to see a problem for themselves first before changing anything. That is why Promisec developed a way to see everything, check specific problems first and then use right click remote remediation that enables you to:
-
Remove a self-defined, unauthorized administrator
-
Remove new unknown processes and unwanted Start-up commands
-
Remove or acknowledge new objects in white lists
-
Close unauthorized shared folders
-
Change a service status
-
Re-deploy Anti-virus
-
Remove applications or other non-compliant objects
